This is my favorite smoothie, ever! It's full of nutritious berries and greens, but it's also incredibly delicious!

I came up with this smoothie years ago when I was looking for a quick and nutritious go-to drink. It's a wonderful way to get some leafy greens into yourself and your kids, and it makes a great post-op recovery drink!


MAMA FIX IT'S Ultimate Berry and Greens Smoothie


Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup cashews (soaked overnight and drained or boiled for 10 minutes, then drained)

  • 10 oz water

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries

  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries

  • 1-11/2 cup baby spinach/baby chard/ "protein greens" mix

  • 1 banana (optional)



Directions:

Directions should always be short and to the point.

  1. Put cashews and water in the blender. Puree until smooth.

  2. Add frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries, baby greens and, if using, banana, to the blender. If your blender can't handle the mix, add a little more water to help the blender puree the mixture.

  3. Puree until thick and creamy then enjoy!
